Long established as Darche's all-rounder, the Hi-View series is available in four sizes to suit any vehicle or preference. No matter where you decide to camp, you'll be set up in minutes thanks to the quick deployment and easy deployment process. Just unstrap, fold out, deploy the ladder, and you're good to go. This tent features plenty of protection from inclement weather, including a fully covered entry. On clear nights, the sky window allows a great view of stars.

Built tough for Australia's rugged landscape, the Hi-View RTT will handle whatever Canada can throw at it - wind, rain, and sun are no bother for this little gem. Designed for maximum ventilation, the extra-large zippered mesh windows on both sides provide exceptional airflow in warm weather without compromising on storm and sun protection. The adjustable fly and built-in air vents will see you through rainy weather, preventing condensation and providing even more airflow, while the gusseted window awnings offer you shade on sunny days.

The Hi-View series is made from tough 260gsm ripstop polycotton canvas. This tent has an impressive PU 1500mm water rating (2000mm on the included rain fly) and seam sealing that will keep you dry in extended rainy conditions, giving you great protection from the elements all year round. The tent includes a premium quality, high-density 65mm mattress with a removable cover and water-resistant base. There's even enough room to stash your sleeping bag inside, so your bed is made and waiting for you upon setup.

The insulated baseboard is made with heavy-duty compressed aluminum. The kit also includes a fully removable, heavy-duty & easy-close PVC cover for protection when you're in transit - with ample material so you don't have to struggle to close it. The included premium stainless-steel mounting brackets suit most commercially available flat roof rack or roof rail systems. Out of the box, Darche RTTs are designed for mounting on transverse (side to side) rack bars. For longitudinal (front to back) bars or rear-facing mount, modification to the included aluminum mounting channels is required.

Make sure to check the weight rating and suitability of your roof rack and vehicle with appropriate manufacturers prior to purchase. We recommend professional installation through one of our partners - click here to see if there's one in your area.

**WHERE IT ALL BEGAN**

In 1991, Darche revolutionized the traditional swag market with the introduction of the Dome style swag. DARREN O’DWYER, the founder of Darche with his wife CHERYL (DAR-CHE), embarked on an eastern Australia journey. Wanting a shelter arrangement that was quick, practical, and easy to stow, Darren used his imagination and created a canvas shell with fiberglass poles, and the dome-style swag was born. Darren realized he required a suitable and purpose-built factory arrangement to suffice demand. Using Australian supply chain partners, Darche became the leading swag and canvas converter in Australia.

Today Darche is proudly owned by the Charles Parsons Group, which has been actively involved for over 20 years in supplying textile and trim componentry to Darche. Charles Parsons is the largest textile wholesaler in the Southern Hemisphere with offices in every capital city of Australia, including offices in Fiji, Auckland, and Shanghai. The day-to-day running of Darche occurs in a warehouse facility based in Thomastown, Victoria, with a site area of more than 40,000m². Darche is overseen by experienced textile product developers, business strategists, and passionate staff who are keen outdoor enthusiasts with sound knowledge and experience to match.

**OUR PROMISE**

We are passionate, dynamic, and keen. We enjoy the same lifestyle choices as our consumers. We strive to provide our consumers with the very best value, reliability, and service, and most importantly, we recognize the trust they place on us. We welcome our consumers’ feedback both positive and negative and promise to keep delivering while listening. We are mindful of our vulnerable environment and build our products to last the journey. We encourage lifetime use and if over the years it requires attention, even if it is a discontinued product, we endeavor to find a solution, on a best effort basis, to have it back and performing for you.

**WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?**

Darche’s growth and shortage of experienced canvas converters and local machinists have seen Darche establish reputable offshore assembly and supply chain partners. Operating from four major plants purposely selected and audited by Darche. Machinists, assemblers, finishers, toolmakers, and QA/QC supervisors are included in our required workforce of over 180 people over our four plants. It is vitally important to note Darche does not use Trading Houses or vertical arrangements offshore to source product. We at Darche develop all product prototypes in Australia and are involved from concept through to market release. Utilizing Charles Parsons accredited laboratories and leading processes, all developments are then vigorously tested at the Thomastown facility and again in real-life situations by developers.
