**Nebula Plus+ 1550 Swag**

This impressive swag combines the space and comfort of a tent with the convenience and sturdiness of a single-skin canvas swag and includes a built-in Hutch® for extra storage! With all of your favorite Nebula features, this premium edition packs a punch in terms of space and storage with the inclusion of the Hutch® compartment to store your gear.

With two external access doors plus the convenient ‘in swag’ access panel through to the Hutch®, you can keep your gear dry and access it from inside or outside of the swag. Store your gear bag or your muddy boots away from your sleeping quarters, keep the beer and firewood dry, or even let the dog bunk in! Don’t be fooled by the size of this swag - you’ll be sitting around the fire in no time with an easy setup that takes only a couple of minutes.

This new design has even larger doors than the standard Nebula 1550, that run into the roofline. The larger opening makes it easier to get in and out of the swag and allows you to stand up without getting out of the swag. With the storm covers rolled up, you’ll get starry night views as you drift off in ultimate comfort. The storm covers can even be used as an awning for extra protection when you step out during those cold and rainy mornings (awning poles sold separately).

The huge doors on five sides of the Nebula Plus + provide terrific cross-ventilation as well as panoramic views on your next off-road adventure. All doors include dual-zippered canvas and super-fine mesh, keeping you cool in the heat and ensuring you’re well-protected from the mozzies all year round. The Nebula Plus + swag is made from premium 420gsm ripstop polycotton canvas with an impressive PU 800mm water head rating. There’s also internal seam sealing and a reinforced, heavy-duty 600gsm PVC bucket floor to keep you dry in those rainy conditions.

This swag includes a mattress upgrade - now featuring our premium quality, high-density 70mm foam mattress with a removable cover, making for an easy cleanup at the end of a long trip. The canvas swag bag provided is perfect for storage and protection while you’re on the go - throw it in the back of the ute or on the roof rack and get on the road.

Note: Nebula Plus+ 1550 is not compatible with the XL Double stretcher/cot - for that combination, choose the standard Nebula 1550. Awning poles sold separately.

In 1991, Darche revolutionized the traditional swag market with the introduction of the Dome style swag. DARREN O’DWYER, the founder of Darche with his wife CHERYL (DAR-CHE), embarked on an eastern Australia journey. Wanting a shelter arrangement that was quick, practical, and easy to stow, Darren used his imagination and created a canvas shell with fiberglass poles, and the dome-style swag was born. Darren realized he required a suitable and purpose-built factory arrangement to suffice demand. Using Australian supply chain partners, Darche became the leading swag and canvas converter in Australia.

Today Darche is proudly owned by the Charles Parsons Group, which has been actively involved for over 20 years in supplying textile and trim componentry to Darche. Charles Parsons is the largest textile wholesaler in the Southern Hemisphere with offices in every capital city of Australia, including offices in Fiji, Auckland, and Shanghai. The day-to-day running of Darche occurs in a warehouse facility based in Thomastown, Victoria, with a site area of more than 40,000m². Darche is overseen by experienced textile product developers, business strategists, and passionate staff who are keen outdoor enthusiasts with sound knowledge and experience to match.

We are passionate, dynamic, and keen. We enjoy the same lifestyle choices as our consumers. We strive to provide our consumers with the very best value, reliability, and service, and most importantly, we recognize the trust they place on us. We welcome our consumers’ feedback both positive and negative and promise to keep delivering while listening. We are mindful of our vulnerable environment and build our products to last the journey. We encourage lifetime use and if over the years it requires attention, even if it is a discontinued product, we endeavor to find a solution, on a best effort basis, to have it back and performing for you.

Darche’s growth and shortage of experienced canvas converters and local machinists have seen Darche establish reputable offshore assembly and supply chain partners. Operating from four major plants purposely selected and audited by Darche. Machinists, assemblers, finishers, toolmakers, and QA/QC supervisors are included in our required workforce of over 180 people over our four plants. It is vitally important to note Darche does not use Trading Houses or vertical arrangements offshore to source product. We at Darche develop all product prototypes in Australia and are involved from concept through to market release. Utilizing Charles Parsons accredited laboratories and leading processes, all developments are then vigorously tested at the Thomastown facility and again in real-life situations by developers.
